Holy Eucharist
“The Holy Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith. Catholics believe in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. “The Holy Eucharist completes Christian Initiation. Those who have been raised to the dignity of the royal priesthood by Baptism and configured more deeply to Christ by Confirmation participate with the whole community in the Lord’s own sacrifice by means of the Eucharist.” (CCC, 1322)
“Take this all of you and eat of it, for this is my Body” was the invitation of Jesus at the Last Supper. At St. Vincent de Paul the celebration of the Eucharist at Mass is celebrated daily. The Church obliges her faithful to attend Mass on Sunday, the Lord’s day, and Holy Days of Obligation. The Eucharist is the center of our parish community and our gather on Sunday is our opportunity to praise God and be sanctified by God. The Mass is also celebrated every day at 6:15 am and 7:45 am.
Eucharistic Adoration is held every Tuesday from 8:15-6pm and every Wednesday from 5:30-6:30. Check the bulletin for additional Adoration times or events especially during Advent and Lent. Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament draws us in closer to our devotion and love of our Lord Jesus Christ truly present.
