Adult Baptism
We welcome people of all ages into our community. The process for welcoming adults into the Roman Catholic faith is known as the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA).
OCIA is a program for individuals interested in learning more about the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church. Classes are open to non-Catholics seeking to join the church through sacrament, non-Catholics seeking only to learn more about the faith, and adult Catholics in need of additional sacrament preparation. Individuals are welcomed to join us for classes with no obligation to join the Catholic Church. The program is conducted by priests and parish volunteers. Classes are held each Sunday during the 9 am Mass, September through April. Contact Lydia Brennan with any questions or to register (lbrennan@svdpvikings.com)
