Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion are commissioned by the diocesan bishop to distribute Holy Communion for three year terms which may be renewed.

Extraordinary ministers must be practicing and upstanding Catholics in good standing and must undergo training before being commissioned to distribute Holy Communion. Extraordinary ministers are needed to distribute Holy Communion at all weekend Masses. Communion is offered under both species is offered on Sundays at 9:00 and 10:30 am.

Extraordinary ministers also help to distribute Holy Communion to the sick and the homebound.
